The Yale Hockey Academy is proud to encourage, support, and train the Student-Athlete. Because the Yale Hockey Academy places a heavy emphasis on academic excellence, it is mandatory for all Yale Hockey Academy students to maintain a B average (73% cummulative) while attending our program. Many of our students have gone on to receive scholarships at the NCAA level or CIS level. The Yale Hockey Academy wishes to maintain a high academic standard.
ON ICE SCHEDULE:
The Yale Hockey Academy has two programs for 2009/2010. "BLUE" group will be made up of primarily of elite Bantam AAA's, Midget AAA players, Major Midget players, B.C.J.H.L. and W.H.L players. Group allocations are made in May of the previous school year and may change in the fall based on group availability, class composition, etc. Our "WHITE" group consists of rep players (AAA, B1 and B2) as well as some House league players. Both groups place an equal emphasis on skill development, and are held to the same high academic standard of "B" honours.
